Nestled along a millpond, in the quaint village of New Hamburg, stands the Waterlot Restaurant and Inn. Built as a stately, private residence in 1847, the Waterlot has been a culinary landmark in the region since 1974.
We are one of Ontario’s finest dining establishments, offering you prestige and integrity; we are proud of our reputation. The Waterlot is the recipient of the Travel Holiday Fine Dining Award of New York and the Gourmet Club of America Silver Spoon Award. Some of our original recipes have also been published in the highly respected Gourmet Magazine.
Our establishment is very flexible. Along with offering exquisite lunch and dinner menu options, The Waterlot enjoys catering to large groups. One of our five dining rooms may prove ideal for your special occassion whether an anniversary, a birthday, a rehearsal party or wedding, a promotion or retirement. Many businesses have found the setting most condusive to constructive and festive sessions.
Spend a night with us sometime. Come to enjoy a cozy, comfortable night in one of our three B&B rooms. We have two large and comfortably appointed rooms, one under each of the 1840’s peaks at the front of the house. We also offer the suite, which consists of 2 rooms, that once belonged to Dr. Kirkpatrick, the former owner, who allowed us to commit to this project in 1973.
